"Unbelievable experience!! Loved everything about this castle… if you want to stay in a 750+ year old castle with unbelievable staff, stay here! Restaurant was great, food amazing… Ano (not sure if I spelled it right) and his wife (and staff) were unbelievably accommodating. Highly recommend staying here! "We had booked a room at the hotel, but it turned out the room was located in a separate 4 room cottage down a trail where we had to drive by car. We did not feel comfortable there, and room was relatively expensive. Therefore we drove back to the reception to ask for a room at the main hotel. "This hotel was exceptional. The main hotel was 4* but the accommodation chosen was the boarding house close to. I suggest the standard was every bit as good as the main building. No fault whatsoever. Following a very good meal in the 4* hotel restaurant a quiet evening was enjoyed. Would stay again. "
