"My husband and I stayed in the Wee Anchor Cottage for our 20th anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage gave us the privacy of having our own little getaway while still enjoying all the amenities of the Anchor Inn. The property is beautifully maintained with gorgeous landscaping, charming porch seating areas, and a relaxing atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. "The manager Dawn was amazing and very helpful with accommodating us. This was our first time at Putin Bay, and we will be back and staying at this lodge. The whole staff was very kind. The bartender was amazing. I love the whole set up. When we got there, our Golf cart was there and we got to use that. And Dawn put our stuff in the conference room until her room was ready. So we got to enjoy the day. What a blessing our stay was. Thank you."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room could use some updates. Water pressure was superb, but the curtain kept clinging to me. Very aggravating. Also, the in room coffee was terrible. The packaged creamer was crunchy. The room was sufficient for a 2 night stay and in a great location, but probably would not stay there again. A large group of young people were congregated directly outside of our window on the second night around 2:45 am. Our room was along an alley. I understand full well...

"The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay."

"Excellent view of Lake Erie from room. Spacious room with separate sitting area. Only downsides meh breakfast and lots of mayflies everywhere outside. Mayflies were not a problem inside the building."
