"We had a lovely time staying at the George and dragon. The Tarvin Christmas market was on , the day of our arrival and the road was due to close from lunchtime, the landlord was very accommodating and let us check in earlier than usual,before the road closed, which was really kind. The hotel was warm and welcoming and we had a meal in the afternoon which was amazing value, good portions and really tasty. The room was clean and comfortable and the stay was made even better by the friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice, a full English breakfast set us up for a day at Chester Christmas market. I would definitely stay again in the future."

"This was an amazing find. The rooms were very spacious beautiful decorated and very warm. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant on the evening and the meal was delicious. Loved the decor of the bar/restaurant and the open fires and candles created a very homely feel. Reasonably priced too. "
