My stay was very disappointing due to cleanliness issues and poor communication.
The room was outdated with old wallpaper , old carpet and visible dust throughout. The AC filters had heavy, visible dirt buildup and clearly had not been cleaned, which caused serious allergy issues for me, including wheezing, itchy throat, and red eyes daily! I am allergic to dogs, and the hotel’s pet-friendly policy combined with poor air filtration made the room extremely uncomfortable to stay in.
Additionally, one of the hotel door entry system did not work properly, which was extremely frustrating and concerning.
Front desk service was also poor. At check-in, things went smooth, I was told housekeeping would come on a scheduled specific day, which I was not given a choice so therefore I planned my day around this. On the scheduled day, when I called the front desk to confirm, I was met with resistance and told housekeeping is not provided daily and my floor is not scheduled until tomorrow (so dumb especially if I’m scheduled to leave that day) this information directly contradicted what I was told upon arrival. I had to push and ask that a manager be contacted for my room to be cleaned as originally promised. It was cleaned when I can back.
Overall, the lack of cleanliness, outdated room, allergy-related health concerns, unreliable door access, and poor customer service made this stay unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for guests with allergies.
