It was ok, we have stayed at the other two hotels, Stella Island and Stella Palace, and to be honest this is not on par with them. The food was very limited, not much choice and if you’re a fussy eater you might struggle. All the flowerbeds were overgrown and if you had a sunbed next to one there was a strong smell of cat urine. The drinks weren’t great, the soda had that off taste or dirty pipes and isnt branded. There were also cockroaches in our room that came from the toilet floor drain. The staff were nice other than one girl at the smaller pool bar, she was always moody and acted like it was a hindrance to serve people.
Overall it was ok and Iv give it a 3 out of 5. I’d probably rather stay at Stella Palace for the same price next time.
The pools were clean but they do allow sunbed reserving and most were taken with towels by 7.30am. Some weren’t even used all day that had been reserved and the staff didn’t do anything to stop that from happening. This would be a major problem at high season.
