Great dinner and superb staff. Room was ok, but looked out onto a building site so balcony was not perfect! Also, loved the bar area.

A mon grand bonheur, l équipement SPA de l hotel est EXTRAORDINAIRE, ce cadeau de mon compagnon est un vrai bonheur, un endroit où on PRENDS ENFIN SOIN DE SOI... Hôtel du Lac de Madine

Super accueil chaleureux et bienveillant. La restauration impeccable très bonne aux petits soins. La chambre très correcte avec une propreté impeccable. Et cerise sur le gâteau, accès à l'espace Spa tout neuf, agréable avec sa douche sensorielle. Je conseille vivement votre séjour à cet hôtel.

Leuk verzorgd onderkomen in een mooie regio in het noorden van Frankrijk ten zuiden van Verdun. Kamers zijn verzorgd en net en een drietal jaar geleden vernieuwd. Het jammere is dat vanaf 7 november de keuken op zondag sluit. Keuken is goed met redelijk grote porties.

Superb dinner but very poor accommodation

We were very disappointed with our room. We were assigned to an annex building about 200 m from the main hotel, and our bedroom was quite small, with the toilet and shower being in separate rooms, although the shower somehow leaked into the toilet room. On first entering the room, we found it smelly but fortunately the smell dissipated after we left the window and door open for an hour. However, we were concerned that on arrival there were dozens of flies in the room, which Google Lens identified as "drain flies". These were easy to swat but they were rather disgusting. We had dinner that evening in the main building and it was an excellent meal with good service from staff. On the other hand, breakfast the next morning was chaotic, with uncleared tablets and a non-functioning coffee machine. Our conclusion was this was a good place to go for dinner, but a really poor place to stay the night.
