"Room was spotless"

"Lovely stay, kindly accommodated our earlier arrival (we were allowing extra time for possible road closures), very clean and compact, we had everything we needed. A couple of steps to watch (trip hazards), shower water turned hot when toilet flushed, and no full length mirror."

"When booking my delux room, I had checked the room amenities and see that the room had a bath tub, this was my reason for booking. When I arrived the staff were super helpful and went the extra mile upon discovering there was no bath tub in the room. They relocated me into a beautiful room with a bath. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked an extra night."

"Great location easy walking distance to everything in Orewa. Good secure parking. Only slight downside was the sea view from the room was only visible if you viewed in front of one window at a particular angle"

"The hotel was clean, which was a big positive. However, I was disappointed that a special birthday request I had confirmed in advance wasn’t done. There was also no customer parking, which made things quite inconvenient. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I expected better attention to detail."

"This was our second stay at the Emerald Inn. We stayed last year and liked it so much that we booked again for December, but in the meantime needed a last-minute trip and decided to try them again — glad we were able to get a room. It didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and comfortable. A little kitchenette is a great bonus even though we didn’t use it, and having a coffee press in the room was a huge plus. Free laundry facilities on-site with flexible hours were also a big bonus. The location...
