"The breakfast each day was absolutely awesome. Only one bad experience with one of the staff on the Monday morning. She ask for our pass for breakfast (which was the only time out of 4 mornings the card was checked) and became a little rude when I explained I left it in the room. After explanning this was the first time we had been ask for the card, she said I had to produce it in order to eat. It didn’t matter that my wife and daughter was there with me and they both had their card. That was a little annoying."
"Cleanliness was horrible. First room had toenail clippings, filthy trashcan that looked like vomit in it and hair on bed. Second room had blood stain and dirt on bed sheets. Floors in room and carpets in hallways were filthy and there was a smell that completely grossed us out. Staff were somewhat accommodating but I would not stay again. "
"First the Good:
Very kind staff, good breakfast, comfortable updated guest room, lovely location RIGHT on the Riverwalk with plenty of parking.
The BAD:
I only stayed one night and what a night it was. At three different times during the night, I was woken up by LOUD guest incidents. There was someone BANGING on a guest room door so long and loudly that I contemplated calling the police. This finally stopped and next came a loud altercation between guests that initially sounded like a domestic dispute with a woman screaming and a man calling her vulgar names. Things calmed down for a few hours, then at 2:30am another loud screaming match began, but this time it was SEVERAL people moving up and down the hallways. I honestly was pretty terrified at this point, but really needed rest so I just ignored it and hoped that the property manager would hear the noise and address it as the property has open air/ outdoor hallways. The following morning I went downstairs to speak to the manager who had no idea anything had happened. She did mention the police had to be called the previous night though. She was VERY kind and refunded part of my room charge, expressing concern promising to follow up on the incidents. I have mixed feelings about whether I would return given this experience, especially as a woman traveling without my husband. "
"The room was very clean and had a nice view of the battleship. The staff was very friendly and check in and check out. The rooftop bar was nice as well. "
