"We took our grandchildren to Legoland and chose this hotel for its proximity to the park, indoor pool and breakfast features. Well, it was 20 minutes away, which wasn’t as close as I thought. I thought I had read it was 9 minutes away but it must have been 9 miles, which took 20+ minutes. My mistake, I’m sure. The indoor pool was heavily chlorinated. The pool was a bit dirty and had small things floating in it but the kids had a great time swimming! Could hear everything though the door in the room. With it was more sound proof. The location is not in a great part of Middletown and looks nothing like the outside photo that is in the listing, and I was not comfortable leaving the property by myself. "Very disappointing experience. My daughter almost slipped into the pool because the railing was loose, creating a serious safety hazard. We brought this to the hotel’s attention, but no refund or compensation was offered. There was also very limited seating by the pool, the hallways had a strong odor, and the location did not feel safe. Due to these concerns, we chose not to stay and left the property. I would not recommend this hotel."
