"Our room smelled"

"We stayed in the Hyatt Place Boulder Pearl Street for 2 nights right after staying 2 nights in the Hyatt Place Denver Lakewood at Belmar and there was no comparison with Lakewood at Belmar definitely coming out on top. The Lakewood hotel was less expensive and had plenty of convenient free parking. The Pearl Street Hyatt Place seemed to be a much older hotel ( don't really know) that they had made a stab at renovating. But they cut corners and did some things and not others. Parking is...

"The only sour note in my two stays was Expedia’s refusal to accept the motel management’s approval of my request to drop one night (Aug. 12) from my reservation. Expedia first told me they couldn’t reach management, though I had no trouble doing so. Then Expedia emailed me that management had rejected my request, an outright lie. Two different employees accepted my request but said only Expedia could change the reservation. I won’t be using Expedia again and will discourage others from doing so."

"This was my first time in the area and I found this hotel to be very conveniently located. Red Rock amphitheater is less than an hour away as is Rocky Mountain National Park. More locally the scenic trail to the flatirons is about 20 minutes away and Pearl St is less than 10 minutes away. The staff were great, the breakfast had lots of options and the room was huge."

"Room is okay; minimal breakfast; air conditioning is incredibly loud. Blackout curtains can't be fully closed so it's really bright at sunrise. Staff was helpful. No housekeeping unless requested."

"I was very impressed by how quiet and comfortable my room was. Parking is a little tight, mostly because those with California, Oregon and Utah plates CANNOT PARK CORRECTLY IN JUST ONE SPACE. Samantha in the office was fantastic and asked questions to make sure that I had a nice visit. The room was excellent and the bathroom/shower were clean and comfortable. Will stay there again if possible. Coffee shop down the street was great!"
