"First room we were given had a very strong mould smell, we were given a second room and then chastised for using the bathroom in the first because they wanted to give the room to someone else. No one should have had the first room. Second room had some mould on the windows and lots of condensation, but it was a wet day. Dinner, the restaurant was closed, food was nice at the bar but took 1.5 hours to be served with two small children. Indoor heated pool was fantastic."

"Although this is an old motel, it's very clean and quite comfortable. The staff at reception are extremely helpful and polite, and we were made to feel welcome. A nice touch was finding the electric blanket warming the bed when we returned later at night,"

"Very basic accomodation. Photos show the property in a very very good light (maybe heavily filtered), we were disappointed at how old and “motel”-like it felt. Room also had a musky odour, could be due to its age or from a pet."

"Lovely to have received lots of contact regarding arrival as I thought I would arrive after hours. Lovely greeting when I did arrive.
Basic cabin for solo traveler. Very clean. Pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bed was. The shower was great and everything I needed was in the very dated cabin. Met my needs and I’m happy to have stayed as I felt safe and it was an extremely quiet caravan park."

"We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating.
Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. Gale , the receptionist, went into action immediately to...

"Very nice, modern room with nice bathroom. The attached restaurant was great with multiple different seating options/zones and delicious food. Unfortunately, the room had a very soiled couch with multiple stains that was disgusting really just needed to be replaced that marred our view of the cleanliness of the room."
