We were a bit spoiled when we were there, since there were no other guests on our floor during our stay. "This is an older hotel, no a/c or elevator, still uses keys, looks beat down from the hallway. Nice clean pool and direct access to some lava rock tide pools. TBH the view of the bay and the sound of the waves made it worth it- but I’d sleep in my car for that sound! Microwave and fridge came in handy. A low cost option for Hilo."
