I had a great stay at Hotel Carolina. The room was recently renovated, very clean, and extremely comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into updating the property.
The mid-island location is excellent—very convenient for getting around Hilton Head and close to everything you need.
I did have to ask the front desk for a few extra towels, and they were incredibly helpful and quick to assist. Overall, the service was great.
The contactless check-in and check-out process was also super easy and convenient, which made the whole stay very smooth.
Overall, the room was nice, the location was great, and it felt like an excellent value for the price. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

It's a great location and price is reasonable. The property is currently being renovated under new ownership after years of neglect apparently. It's quiet (on a Thursday night) and comfortable with a little harbor within walking distance with shops, restaurants, etc. I'd do it again.
