"Friendly helpful staff, nice rooms"

"The management are wonderful, baking delicious brownies as a welcome gift, and ensuring the room had everything a family needed including a proper sized microwave, a Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules, lovely quality towels, and sufficient crockery and glassware, with a little fridge. There is also a wonderful kitchen easily accessible to guests, with more equipment and seating area for preparing a meal and dining if needed. It’s in a great location too, walking distance to the main...

"The property was advertised as having a restaurant bar and café. This was misleading as the bar restaurant and café in the pictures are closed permanently. There were no staff on site. I rang the number on the door and there was no answer. I messaged through Expedia and they have refused ro respond. I have requested a refund as the advertising is misleading and there is still no response or refund. As I write this they are still advertising they have a restaurant and bar and taking money. "The décor was gorgeous, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the setting felt wonderfully private. Everything was fresh, clean and beautifully presented, with generous facilities provided. A lovely, relaxing place to stay. Thanks for a lovely experience"

"Well located property within easy walk to everything in town and the Goolwa Port."

"lovely stay. Quiet, clean and nice cabin with all you need."

"The room we stayed in didn't match the photos on the website. I don't know if the other rooms were better."

"Cabin was quite small, thought there would be a lounge, but no room. Bit odd going thru bedroom to get to toilet. But was a nice park"

"Bed was very comfortable however bathrooms could be cleaner in the wet areas. Staff helpful at the front desk. Good view out over the golf course."

"Great base to explore McLaren Vale. Excellent restaurant with an easy walk to our room. Very friendly staff from cleaners wine tasting, reception & restaurant"

"Check in was easy and our host was super friendly and helpful."

"Friendly welcome. The accommodation needs a refurbishment."

"We stayed in a deluxe cabin it is far from deluxe. It had a musty smell, mould in the shower. Water stains on the windows and an old wall air conditioner/heater that vibrated the whole cabin. I left a glass on the sink and it was vibrating that much the smashed when it feel into the sink. It only has a double bed and not much room between the bed and the walls. Definitely not worth the money we paid to stay there."

"A truly amazing place to stay for independent adult travellers. It's not far from Port Willunga, McLaren Vale and road connections, but it is comparatively remote. You have to be self-sufficient as the staff are not on site most of the time. Expect to drive for shops, restaurants etc - and as there are no cooking facilities, you need to do that, or have meals delivered - but that is the charm. To see wallabies lolloping by at dusk or dawn, honey-eaters busy among the flowers, the horizon of...
