"Lovely, friendly family owned hotel. Excellent food (be prepared for a massive, homemade tasty Sri Lankan breakfast). Outdoor facilities a little basic but clearly a work in progress in improving. Pool and room were lovely. Nice nature walks nearby. Would recommend vegetarian dinner options."

"My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our Sri Lanka trip. The rooms were very big and clean, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The staff were great, and organised a safari trip for us, and a very early excursion to Lions Rock. The hotel was quite far away from main attractions, and where local restaurants and bars are (about 20 minute drive). This was fine for us as we hired a moped so we could come and go as we please.
