Goede locatie, als je toekomt oogt het luxe maar de kamers zijn verouderd maar toch oke. Alles wordt niet zo onderhouden zoals we gewoon zijn. Onze kamer had een gebroken raam en je zag dat het niet recent gebroken is. Badhanddoek rook fis en gewassen maar had een gerafeld gat erin

J’ai réservé cet hôtel uniquement pour la salle de sport (car en pleine préparation de courses). À mon arrivée, ils m’annoncent que la salle de sport est fermée sans motif. La chambre est propre si l’on n’est pas regardant sur les cafards et les moisissures dans la salle de bain La chambre est très mal insonorisée. Difficile de se reposer. Les clients et le personnel qui se parlent d’un bout à l’autre du couloir, les enfants qui hurlent dès 7h du matin!!!! Et oui l'hôtel est en partie responsable de cela. On choisit ses clients. Il n’y a pas que l’argent qui compte. Côte petit déjeuner, c’est très cher pour un buffet. D’ailleurs les saveurs du petit déjeuner et le prix ont fait que je n’ai pas voulu tester le buffet du soir! Il y a énormément de petits restaurants tellement délicieux à proximité !!! Commandez un tuk tuk et fuyez cet endroit! Le personnel est agréable et réactif aux demandes. Le service de machine à laver est hors de prix comme tout le reste d’ailleurs mais le linge sens très bon quand il revient! Vérifiez bien les prix et prenez en photos la feuille qui justifie des vêtements que vous avez donné pour vérifier vos prix. Le parc est très agréable et immense avec la vue sur le lac. Les aigles et les singes sont présents. Une expérience en définitive fort peu agréable et c’est sans aucun regret que j ai quitté cet établissement où j’ai passé 6 nuits car tout était payé à l’avance et non remboursable (sinon je serais partit tout de suite)

Zimmer groß und sauber. Personal freundlich und bemüht. Pool groß genug und sauber. Aufzug immer noch kaputt. Dachterrasse leider wenig einladend. Wäschereiservice absolut mangelhaft - Flecken wurden nicht entfernt, Wäsche roch nach nichts. Auf Reklamation wurden uns die noch dreckigen Teile erlassen Allerdings Frage ich mich bis heute noch, was genau das für Flecken sind. Selbst mein eigenes T-Shirt ist so verdreckt, das hätte ich sicher vorher bemerkt. TV war kaputt, würde von meinem Mann "repariert". Im Beisein eines Technikers. Anschließend kamen noch. Weitere zwei Techniker, um das Problem zu lösen. Schlechte Kommunikation untereinander also. Strand sehr klein, direkt am Hotel wegen großer Steine nicht zu nutzen, Turtle Beachbdaneben ständig überfüllt. Essen war okay, Frühstück als Lunch Box sehr dürftig, Frühstück vor Ort aber in Ordnung und reichlich. Abends abla carte abwechslungsreich und gut, eher kleine Portionen und leider war der Salat sehr braun. Für kurze Aufenthalte in Ordnung, für längere Aufenthalte eher nicht zu empfehlen. Dafür ist der Gesamtpreis dann auch zu teuer gewesen.

湖を眺めながら朝食が食べられた点が良かったです。お部屋はとても綺麗でしたが、バルコニーの扉をしっかりと閉めていても蚊が窓に大量に張り付いていて、幾つかが隙間から入り込んで来ていたのでその点だけ気になりました。全体的にはとても過ごしやすかったです。

Bel endroit

Bel établissement magnifiquement situé sur les bords du lac, grande piscine, magnifique jardin et surtout proximité d'animaux. Plusieurs fois des buffles d'eau et même des éléphants sont venus juste au bord de l'établissement. Sans même parler des innombrables oiseaux (échassiers, hérons, aigrettes...). Nous recommandons. Seul bémol, le wifi est un peu faiblard

Hotel, ver afgelegen van het centrum, wordt veel gebruikt voor feesten en partijen die ‘s ochtends om 7.00 uur al beginnen met heel veel herrie. Focus van de accommodatie gaat uit naar deze feestelijkheden: hotelgasten moeten steeds wijken voor feesten (buffet is steeds ergens anders, soms weggestopt in vieze en verouderde ruimte). Feestgangers rond het zwembad, volledig gekleed... Kamers zijn erg gehorig: gasten die luid roepend door de gangen lopen en keukengeluiden (kletterende borden) tot diep in de nacht.

Poor value and limited (not good) food choice!

The hotel looked promising upon arrival, with a big open reception housing many elephants. However, the 'hot' buffet food was cool, the salads were warm, the breakfast fruit juice dispensers were dirty with lots of fruit flies evident. The range of food was 95% spicy and not geared for western tastes. The shower gave only cold water. We were woken with maintenance drilling at 7.45am.Not that close to Kaudella NP. It was not all bad though...there was a good view of the lake and monkeys in the close by trees. Massage excellent value, but Hotel Not good value at £67 half board; beers were also expensive at around 750 Rs for 625ml bottle.

Very convenient base for visiting Polonnaruwa sights. Beautiful surroundings and well kept grounds, Can't say that about the condition of the rooms ..... but they were adequate for a 1 night stay. Restaurant seemed to cater to large tour groups.

Very disappointed.

Have to change 3times room. Booked for lake view. At the end got nothing. Toilet & shower was dirty. Bed was with poky springs. Only the staffs are good & friendly.

I chose this hotel because it said all rooms with lake view. Mine was facing a field with a tiny view of the lake at the corner. I requested for high floor but got the 1st floor. According to the reception, all rooms fully booked, but during dinner, there were only about 12 people. The car park had only 6 vehicles. Room is big. Tv small with wires exposed. The lights are of 2 colours, warm and white; looks like they ran out of the same colour lights. Hotel under renovation. Bathroom - a yucky smell coming from the drain near the washbasin. After pouring water into it and leaving the extractor fan on, the smell dissipated. No shower gel. Nice hot water. Electric power was interrupted a few times which stopped the A/C. Wifi is out of range in the end rooms. Even then, wifi does not automatically connects when in range. Dinner buffet quite a good spread. The French onion soup and kottu were good. Flies in the open restaurant. Sprawling grounds - good for kids to run around. There were big red ants though. A good size Swimming pool. The back of the hotel faces the lake and one can see elephants and buffaloes in the distance. Peaceful. Some staff have Pinkerton Syndrome.

Very nice hotel with great view

This hotel located on center of the historical site. All places are in waking distance. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Even chef offered to prepare a special meal for kid without any additional fee.

Nice place to spend a day ir two.

I have to say we were a little disappointed with our stay. The website stated that the hotel had 5 restaurants and several pools. The hotel had only one restaurant, which served a variety of cuisines, and the food was very nice, but we expected to have a variety of places to try, not just one! Also, there was only one pool and a childrens small pool. Very nice pool, but again, only one! Please be more careful with how you advertise accommodation. The staff really make the place....without thir efforts it would not be a pleasant stay, so they are to be commended.

Great hotel with small improvements needed

Great location and excellent staff. Only let down was lack of housekeeping which had to be requested in the evening. Also tea and coffee facilities were provided with a UK plug but no adaptor, could only use as we had an adaptor. Breakfast was fantastic buffet and pool excellent.

酒店就在湖边，突突车到大路分叉口下次还是两百，到汽车站五百。酒店花园里有一棵成了精的大树，孩子们在上面钻来钻去很高兴。服务员们都很热情友好！
