Excellent hotel. Highly recommended.

Magical location, really romantic and serene. We stayed at the castle which was a great and unique experience. We had a little issue with the toilet seat and the room was a bit small but I guess this was part of the charm of the place. Staff were really nice and friendly especially the somellier, yet some of them were very young and clearly needed some additional training. However, breakfast was nice and wine and rakish were divine. Place has so much charm and is really really unique.

The hotel is in very good condition with a very harmonious environment. The access road may look authentic original, but my car for sure didn't appreciated. The staff was friendly, with no staff speaking English in the restaurant, but at least they had the menu available in English language. The food was good, with a nice presentation too. For a short stay, the options in the menu are sufficient, but for who is intending to spend longer period... they may need to consider other places to eat...

Amazing location right in the heart of the old town, really helpful and attentive staff and good size rooms.

A

Great value accommodation. Clean, modern and friendly. I doubt any hotel in Plovdiv offers nicer rooms. Give the place a go! Just don’t take a taxi.. always trying to over charge!

My wife and I spent just two days in Plovdiv in late June, and were very pleased we chose the Hotel Evmolpia. Victoria was very helpful and friendly at check-in, and we were delighted with our large room. The hotel is in an excellent location in the Old Town, and very quiet. The breakfast was satisfying, and we enjoyed the generous cheese and wine on offer in the evening. All in all: highly recommended.

Comfortable, friendly, clean and interesting. The talk about the Roman Baths found under the property was great, and very good recommendations for what to do in Plovdiv. Very nice breakfast in courtyard.

Wonderful place to stay. Full of nice tech for the 21st century. The Bed, oh goodness, the bed is amazing. I tried to find out where the bed was from from, but staff wouldn’t disclose details - Good idea. The hotel is very inviting and fantastic mood lightening. Finally, don’t worry about the bathroom privacy.. it’s excellent😉. Recommend Netflix connection or  TV

Good hotel

Fantastic apartment 10 min to Plovdiv’s Main Street, 15 min to old town. Absolute gem. From the outside the building isn’t glamorous but it’s very safe and the apartment is plenty big for a family of 4, maybe even more if people sleep on the sofas on the living room. The shower works well but there’s no separate shower area or curtains so the owner provides a squeegee and slippers. The boiler is big so many people can shower in a near time. The owner is very communicative and flexible -...

Clean , friendly, spacious. Decent breakfast. Overall highly recommended!

Hotel staff were extremely welcoming when we arrived. It was the middle of the afternoon and we were hungry, so we had a late lunch at the hotel, after finding that it's prices were similar to those of restaurants we had eaten at before (hotel dining room prices are usually extortionately expensive). The actual lunch was as good as any other we had had. The walk to town was about a mile, rather longer than my wife was willing to put up with, but we found that buses 93 and 66 provided convenient...
