The resort is very run down. The self-catering rooms were missing a lot of stuff and were very run down, but clean. was so bad we checked out after one night, but the resort was kind enough to refund us our two nights.

My unforgettable holiday experience

It is an excellent lodge with a warm and friendly staff. They just need to pay special attention to a few minor but important details like ensuring that appliances like kettle is in good working condition and the tea station is placed in such a way that it is easily seen. The bathing towels are readily displayed at the first day of arrival of new guests. Otherwise, they exceeded my expectation with everything else at such a reasonably good price. They are a 5 star lodge.

Unfortunately we arrived too late for the crocodile and reptile viewings. Thry coe at 5pm. We also missed the traritional zulu dancing and handicraft demonstrations as they were only during the day. I am disappointed about that as it was the reason for going there. The huts are lovely, and the grounds very pretty, but the pool could use some cleaning.

Quite close to Hluhluve-Umzilogi game park

The staff was really friendly. We had breakfast and dinner included, both were buffettype and excellent.The room or little round house was nice. We complain of poor lights, kitchenlight was not working all the time and it was too dark to read (we are more than 60). The airconditioner was not working properly, but anyway somehow, the showerroom and toilet were ok, warm water, no bidet. Anyway, we liked the place. The friendliness of the staff helped a lot.

Der Sauberkeit in der Dumazulu Lodge lässt zu Wüns

Das Zimmer und speziell die Kücheneinrichtung waren leider nicht sauber. Speziell die Küchenschränke schienen mir schon seit Längerem nicht mehr gereinigt worden zu sein. Es lage Krümel uns Staub hierin. Ich habe darauf verzichtet Gläser oder Teller aus den Schränken zu benutzen. Auch der Pool war nicht sauber. Ich hatte diesen Umstand der Rezeption morgens mitgeteilt, mit dem Hinweis, dass ich den Pool gern am Nachmittag benutzen möchte. Leider wurde den Tag über nichts getan. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren großzügig und lecker. Dieser Umstand ändert aber nichts am Gesamtergebnis " Nicht empfehlenswert ".

Accueil très agréable et les cases

Accueil très agréable et les cases zouloues sont extremement bien équipées. Très bonne situation qui permet de visiter le village culturel zoulou très interessant et aussi la reserve hululwe-umfolowzi magnifique. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner étaient excellents. Très bonne étape.
