"Checked in and back out 5 minutes later. The room smelled musty and moldy, everything in the room was damp. It looks like they put a quick coat of paint on the walls to hide everything that was wrong. Extremely disappointed. No refund either then I was asked if i did anything to the room or could it be re rented… shameful"

"Couldn’t ask for a better view. We had room service breakfast on the balcony and it was lovely. Room was very modern, clean, and beachy. Fit 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably. Walk to the beach was steps. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. 4 stars for the staff overall- only because the restaurant made an error with our dinner reservation and I didn’t feel it was remedied. "

"Staff were great, pool was great kids loved it, two good restaurants so close you could throw a rock at. Balconies are on the land side instead of the water otherwise they’d double the prices. Old school charm here, quaint Americana. We booked it to get to Caledesi island only to find out ferry runs Thursday through Sunday only but still a good visit. "

"I had a really good experience at check in. Being greeted by my name and even was given a tour of the property. My room was over looking the water but the bathroom was not clean. This property is currently under renovation for a new pool but the beach access was a plus. Sofia at the Palmette was very nice but the valet staff ahhhh.
