"I have never had such a quiet room in my years of traveling. I could not hear ANY sound in the hall at all, but could hear noise as soon as the door opened, even standing just behind the door. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Wonderful shower with double showerheads and huge bathroom with 2 sinks. Only minor thing is the showerhead needed cleaning. "Very old tired, looking hotel previously owned by another owner the lobby furniture completely unacceptable stains all over furniture in the lobby. Rooms are just OK. Very old furniture very tired looking hotel very disappointed plus Expedia charged me top dollar could’ve saved 100 bucks buying a direct from the hotel very disappointed in Expedia just deleted your app."

"Our toilet over flowed and when I called the front desk the lady acted like she was put out because we needed a plunger. I also told her there was water all over the bathroom floor and asked to have it cleaned up. She brought us the plunger but nothing else. Frustrated I asked for towels since clearly no one was coming to clean it up. Again she seemed put out and came back with 2 bathmats and one towel. We had to use every towel in the room to soak up the water leaving us to not be able to...

"We stayed at this location on our most recent trip to Universal Studios and were so pleasantly surprised. It was a great location, a convenient walk to the amusement park, and staff were all above and beyond. By far the best of our recent California trip. We will definitely stay here again. Spent a lovely evening and morning at the pool, which our kiddos loved. Highly recommend! "

"Absolutely adorable! Very well kept. Bar is inviting and had a 3 piece jazz band for happy hour. They were excellent. Dining was really delicious. The only issue we had was the noise from the dining area was right outside our bedroom door. And I couldn’t help wonder if we had any kind of privacy. And rooms are modern and look sharpe, but are very small."

"I would never stay here again. Extremely small room, just a bed with no room to walk around. The room smelled damp and musty. There was a broken down car and tons of trash behind our room. Zero amenities. Pay the extra dollars to stay at the Garland. This place is NOT a hotel!"
