"Lovely hotel. Upgraded to include executive room area. Well worth £30 when a pint is nearly £7."

"The room was clean, spacious comfortable. Took us a while to work out the air con/heating system but once we did it worked well. Sadly the restaurant / bar area was very chaotic. The food prices didn’t match the website and for the prices they were it felt awfully high vs the quality. Also the cocktails were not great. Mojito was pure lime juice. There was obvious favouritism to the bigger tables. When asking for our order they served the 2 bigger tables twice before coming to us and same when getting the bill. We understand money needs made but we didn’t need to sit for 20 mins waiting for the bill as she forgot. We then wanted some water to take back to our room, but there was commotion with another customer who wanted to complain. There were 6 people behind the bar but too busy gossiping and listening rather than serving anyone. When she finally did she said you should have just asked, all very unorganised. "

"The hotel was clean and the room a good size. The location was great adjacent to Manchester airport. Hotel amenities were good - especially the complementary breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. "

"We recently stayed at Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport. The check-in team were super helpful and friendly, which made for a great first impression. The rooms were adequate overall, although unfortunately the heater in my room was broken, so it was a little cold during the stay. The restaurant menu offered good variety and the food quality itself was very nice. However, the service level from the team was quite poor. We noticed guests waiting a long time to be seated, and we had to chase a server just to place our order. Considering the prices weren’t cheap, the service didn’t match expectations. On a positive note, it was nice to see a complimentary bottle of water in the room. The free shuttle bus is also a great touch and very convenient. The gym looked good, although I wasn’t able to access it as my room key didn’t work. Overall, a mixed experience—great front desk service and good food, but let down by maintenance issues and slow restaurant service."
