"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."

Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different. Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house. Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented. "Lovely new apartments. Quiet and a good view. Beds were comfy and bathrooms lovely and the kitchen well equipped. The need for key fobs to go thru every door was somewhat tiresome and a bit surreal. The concierge who carry out the check in for these apartments were helpful. I was somewhat disappointed as there was no hairdryer in the apartment. After a long hold on the phone I was told the housekeeper would bring one Saturday morning (we were going to a wedding) but it never materialised....

"Early checkin was an awful experience, we called ahead and confirmed we would like to book early checkin, we were told we could arrive at 2pm. When we arrived there was no sign of early checkin and we were told they can clean a room but they had no idea how long it would take. When returning at 3:30pm we got our room and had to pay full early checkin price. The garden terrace was overgrown and we could barely open the door. The weed smokers in the open courtyard at night ruined the experience...
