"On the positive side, the location was great, the room was comfortable and the two bathrooms were very convenient. On the other hand, of the five nights we stayed, the room was partially cleaned only on the first night. The bed was made and towels changed however they left the dirty coffee cups, didn’t replenish the coffee, didn’t clean the floors or wipe down the surfaces. The next day the room wasn’t cleaned so we asked for more towels and coffee. The third day, again, no cleaning so we called the front desk and they simply said that sometimes they don’t finish each floor. They said if we want our room cleaned we need to specifically request it. That’s not helpful. The next negative; the hot tub was broken and they said they didn’t know if it would be fixed or when. No one at the desk seemed to care enough to attempt to help. Last time we stayed at this location. Finally, the sofa in our room had noticeable stains that were …. Disgusting."

"The room was perfect for a stay for two people, but could even manage 3-4 if you're willing to squeeze. The room was clean and comfortable, with adequate, simple amenities by way of the two sinks, toilet, and shower. There was a tiny stove and some cooking implements if you want to cook, but it's likely that in here you will prefer to maybe get the hotel breakfast and getting your meals elsewhere. Surprisingly there is a "gym," although its space is quite small. It is nestled in with a large ice machine, which was helpful to have. There's also a little patio and a pool and hot tub for use, which we didn't use because we were in Tahoe after all, but there was usually at least one group there, so if that's your thing than you're in luck. One of the best parts was the fact that you are walking distance from shops and restaurants of which there are many, of good quality but a bit on the pricier side for what they are (vacation prices). You're a quick drive to many other destinations around the lake, and the lake itself is just right over there. Overall it's a great stay for the price - I'd book again."
