"This is perfectly situated in the charming old part of Lille, so that for example we had a lovely view over the main street and were close to lots of restaurants and bars (which on Saturday night seemed to be crowded mainly with people from Lille rather than tourists). We were greeted in a very friendly fashion at Reception when we arrived which always helps. The hotel is very nicely furnished in quite a cool old-fashioned way. "For over $500 we got a spartan room with very little storage space and a huge bathroom with no space for towels, toiletries, etc. The seating in the room was uncomfortable and the furnishings were all laminate. This is, at best, a 2-3 star hotel with 5 star prices. On the plus side, it is well located in the city center and is a pretty building."

"Bonjour suite à notre we en cette hôtel, et étant moi même dans le domaine technique et conseiller en prévention pour le groupe Accor, il y a quand même des petits bémol, càd, odeur vraiment désagréable de la décharge de la douche, il doit surement manquer les anti retour dans les décharges, cela est vraiment d'un désagréable dans la chambre 32, la finition aussi du bac douche, silicon sur silicon bof, bof. Note positive le personnel était accueillant et très aimable."
