I love the look, style & amenities so I planned on making this my regular hotel for stay when visiting Houston, however this is my second visit which similar to the first, house keeping never came. My first visit was for 5 days in which I requested them halfway into my stay that time but since I was staying 3 days this time and had checked in late, I didn’t bother this second stay. The difference this time, I ran into 2 additional issues unlike the first. First, the tv remote was missing which I didn’t realize until I was settling in for the night. I called and was told that someone would have to come the next morning because it was too late. Around 11:30 am the next day I called and the person working front desk did not see it noted but would come take care of it which he did. The second issue was the day after checkout, I see a $20 charge. No call, email, nothing. I call them and the person working front desk who was also the same person that came with the new remote said that they couldn’t email me because I booked through expedia although I have given them my email previously and my number is on file. He claims it’s a $20 charge for a stain in a towel. I question the validity of it because how can I be sure it’s from me & even if it was, failing to clean the room for several days would allow for any stain to set in. He claimed that there’s pictures & asked for my email to send proof that ONE stained towel equals $20, however it has been 3 days now & nothing. 🤔
