"It's nice to be so close to the mountain so you can get it in and out easily. However the staff refused to call a taxi for us to get around town, instead forcing us to call their (unlicensed) friends, who of course charged significantly more. Clearly a racket to take advantage of foreigners and wildly unethical for any paid hotel staff. The manager said he would look into this."

Staff is friendly and helpful, with an afternoon tea event organized daily between 4.30 and 5pm. The price is a little expensive, given no pool or gym, and it is hard to get to without a car. Surrounding environment is quite relaxing, as hotel is located in a plain between mountains."

"Stayed one night before and after our visit to Huangshan mountain. Hotel room was huge with a kitchen and really big indoor balcony. Only smoking rooms available but didnt smell smoke at all in the room. Cigarette burns on chairs and carpets. New appliances inside however our electronic door handle was taped onto the back of the door. A bit out of the way of anything happening in town but taxis are really cheap to take anywhere.
