"The hotel itself is fine, especially for the price. We had a major issue with the front desk staff. My son and I were attempting to purchase an ice cream from a freezer in the lobby. The desk clerk accused my son of stealing an ice cream and placing it in the pocket of his swim trunks. It was absurd. It did not happen. But he insisted and even made my son turn his pockets inside out in the middle of the lobby with others around. It was completely false, baseless, and humiliating. I was furious but just kept my cool and paid for our two $3 ice cream bars and left. My 11-year-old son was upset and embarrassed. I have no idea what the young man was thinking. He seemed a bit awkward during the check in process, but I didn't think much of it. But the ice cream episode was totally unacceptable. It's unfortunate because it totally tainted a good weekend for our family and an otherwise pleasant experience."
