  • It was built in 1693/94 by Johann Bernhard Fischer of Erlach for Ernst Rüdiger of Starhemberg under the name Jagdschloss Engelhartstetten. In 1725 the castle was purchased by Prince Eugene of Savoy . It received its present appearance under Maria Theresia around 1765 by the court architect Nikolaus Pacassi . The paintings of the Festaal are by Jean-Baptiste Pillement . From 1945 onwards there was an increasing decline of the castle. Since 1980, it has been restored and now serves as an exhibition and venue. In 2016 Schloss Niederweiden, for example, will be one of four locations of the exhibition on the centenary of the death of Emperor Franz Joseph . In the former Lustschlösschen of the Habsburgs exhibition shows on hunting and leisure are shown in the special show. [1] Schloss Niederweiden has been used as a venue for the past years: 15 stately rooms - including a baroque Wilhelminian kitchen - can be rented for private parties and celebrations (such as birthdays, weddings), conferences and conferences.

Tranquillity

We had a lovely stay. Everything was in order. The area around is beautiful and the adjacent airfield is an added bonus. The restaurant is very good too. Highly recommend it.

Nice and clean

Stayed here in a pinch on way between Bratislava to Vienna. Much less expensive than staying in either of those two cities, and rooms were new, fresh, and clean. Check-in and check-out is a little wonky due to no personnel / all accomplished at kiosk. Otherwise spectacular.

Good hotel that need to improve check in.

Poor check in experience with an automated check in facility but card reader not working. Had to call the support number. It took myself and three colleagues 35 minutes to check in. Hotel room was very nice as was the food. Service is restaurant was great.

The listing is misleading. The fact that there is no elevator and no one to check you in is hidden in the fine print very well. Expedia did nothing to assist with this issue and even one agent was snarky enough to say: you should have read the whole listing. I appreciate Luauna who helped by making sure we were only charged for the one night and then the owner of the restaurant helped my party get to the train to Vienna.

훌륭했어요!

아주 훌륭해요. 여름에 렌트카 여행하면서 판도르프 아울렛 가기위해 머물럿어요. 작은 야외수영장 있어 수영도 할 수 있어요. 여름 휴가지도 좋을 거 같아요. 시설도 깔끔하고 이용하기 아주 편리했어요
