"Lovely hotel located in a serene setting with ample and free parking. We enjoyed great conversation with the friendly staff, especially those in the beautiful dining room. The breakfast was cooked to order and to perfection…delicious! The room was very clean although a bit smaller than we expected but the bathroom was spacious and fully remodeled. It is an old building (squeaky floors, flight of stairs to bedrooms) but it has an interesting history and vintage furniture pieces placed about. We...

"Beautiful hotel, the restaurant and bar areas are fabulous. The room was to a high standard, clean and cosy. The hotel interior is to a very high standard and decorated beautifully. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The spa is beautiful and the treatments excellent."

"Everything was fine during our stay, apart from a finding a dubious-looking piece of "something sticky" in one of the paper cups in our room (sorted out quickly by reception). There are several places to eat here. And whilst KFC, Greggs, and McDonald's aren't exactly the most appealing options, the West Cornwall Pasty Co provided a welcome alternative. Our room was comfortable, warm and very quiet. All-in-all, It made for an ideal overnight stop."
