"Absolutely delightful way to begin our trip in Morocco after flying in to Agadir. The hotel/riad was the family home with gorgeous woodwork, tiles, light-filled spacious rooms. Melli is super helpful and responsive. Dinner was delicious. The room had a balcony and view. It is an older home so not “modern” like a hotel but totally comfortable and far more charming. Highly recommend if you’re passing through Agadir and not going to the beach."

Ottima colazione, consiglierei se possibile di fare la mezza pensione, intanto ad Agadir non troverete niente di meglio. Se pensate di visitare la città avrete bisogno di un’auto. "L’hôtel était vraiment immense et très spacieux. Même s’il était complet, il ne donnait pas cette impression, car il restait beaucoup de place. Sara à l’accueil était très gentille et serviable.La nourriture était délicieuse, et le service impeccable. Un merci tout particulier à Salah et Mohamed au bar, qui ont été particulièrement aimables avec nous. Le restaurant marocain, quant à lui, était tout simplement exceptionnel."

The only (very mild) negative is that it is remote- about 20 minutes from Agadir, although that its only 300 Dirham for a return Taxi trip, and there are not a lot of nearby shops.
If you’re after bustling nightlife the hotel isnt for you, but if you want a quiet & peaceful getaway...

The rooms are incredible (we had a junior suite and I was really impressed) the ambience of the public spaces is warm, friendly and convivial and the staff are stellar -particular shout out to Rida in the restaurant who hit the balance being professional and attentive at all times and personal and warm when the opportunity arose.

"First time in Agadir and first time in Morocco. Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sofitel. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, and the hotel has its own beach area looking out onto the promenade with a sea view. The nearest shops and other restaurants are a bit or a walk but you don’t really need to leave the hotel. Souk El Had was a 50MAD taxi ride away. There was lots of options at the breakfast buffet- I’m missing the fresh bread! Would definitely...
