"This was our second time staying at this hotel. It is very nice. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Restaurant is awful though. The first trip we had a very comfortable bed. Our second trip the bed wad awful. Overall, we were happy and would stay again"

"When we booked this (and 2 other Princess lodge stops), I didn’t realize it was tied to the cruise line (and land ‘cruise). We liked it, and was definitley more modern than the other options in the area. Rooms were nice. Drawback was no parking close to your room and no fridge/microwave. A bit warm at first since no ac and blinds were open to sun all day. Would benefit from a few activities on site (ie corn home or horse shoes like some of the other lodges have). "

"Great location right at the entrance to the park and restaurant is outstanding. Rooms were clean and comfortable although be aware a lot of bus tours stay here too. "

"Would highly recommend-we stayed one other place in Denali and the Holland America Lodge has all of the creature comforts and transportation everywhere you want to go."

"We were lucky with a great view of Denali on a clear afternoon. We had a standard 2 queen room and it was spacious and comfortable. There is no AC, but the window opened and there was a ceiling fan and a standing fan that made it confortable. We didn't eat at the restaurants, but they looked nice We did have breakfast atvthe coffee shop. Muffins and the breakfast sandwich were very good, as well as the coffee. Staff was friendly. "

"The Fairview Inn is a historic hotel and bar in Talkeetna! Definitely worth spending a night at and getting a drink/listening to live music! It is centrally located so extremely easy to walk to other shops, restaurants, bars, and the museum in town."

"The cabin was small but well equipped. It was quite lovely and good use of space. They had everything we needed to prepare a dinner after running to the grocery store nearby. The check in and check out process was so convenient. Thank you for your great hospitality. "

"We had only one overnight stay so cannot give many details about the surroundings but it felt like a safe place, definitely was clean and very easy to check in , the stuff was friendly and answered all our questions with no hesitation, I t is close to the main road so we did hear the traffic passing by but when you are very tired that wasn’t mich to complain about, definitely would come back again"

"It would be nice to have more things to do around the property without the need to drive or book tours etc…. A nice little walk up the stream /trail would be nice ,the 2ft stretch doesn’t really pass for a walk 😁"

"A truly great little gem. I had a cabin near the lodge and it was wonderful. I was in town for work so I didnt really get to spend all that much time there but I can tell you this, the time I did spend there was quiet, tranquil, and relaxing. I worked 19 hours the first day I was in town and I couldnt have found a better place to get home to afterwards."
