"A nice lodge in the middle of nowhere, but that's what makes it special. Very friendly and easy going new owners honestly making it a go-to accomodation. The cabins are rustic, but equipped for a restful night. The common refrigerator, library and coffee shop were quite useful. We stayed as 3 couples using one 1 bedroom and one 2 bedroom cabin and were quite happy with our stay (only 1 night). We all remarked that we would certainly stay again if in the area!"

"We had a great stay. Had a mosquito issue when we arrived, but Rex took care of the problem the next day and we were bug free the rest of our stay. Liked the self serve breakfast assortment."

"The TV never worked, internet was very weak and the staff didn’t do anything about it just continued to give excuses. The bathroom fixtures were loose and the toilet handle fell out every time went to flush the toilet. Nobody warned me that this hotel sits right at the landing approach for the airport so planes fly literally 200’ above you as they land. The one positive is that the mattress was very comfortable and the A/C worked. I will not be staying here again!"

"Very cute cabin - clean and like-new. The drive in can be lengthy and we knew we'd be arriving a bit late - fortunately they provided detailed instructions on what to do to check-in after hours, so we have a smooth arrival!"

"I stayed here with my family during the summer, and while the location is convenient for accessing Denali, there are several areas where the property could improve. With nearly 19 hours of daylight, blackout curtains would make a big difference—especially for families with young children who need proper rest. The rooms are also smaller than standard hotel rooms, and there is no fan or air conditioning. Direct sunlight warms the rooms quickly, and opening windows brings in bugs. The name of the...

"We enjoyed some of the nearby restaurants and gift shops. A lot of fun activities to do nearby. We were able to get a free shuttle back and forth to the train."

"Our check in time was 4:00 p.m., we actually checked in at 3:10 as we had an excursion, came back at 5:30 and our room was not ready. Finally got access to our room at 6:15. The shower head is at the right height for someone who is less than 5’5”, I am 5’9”. There were gaps on 3 sides of the door where you could see daylight which meant mosquitoes could enter. So overall would not recommend this hotel, did not find value for the money spent. We were 2 of 5 people travelling together - so...
