The breakfast is really good!! And the service is fantastic! Very nice and helpful people working there! The 3 stars only is because the bed in the room in the yard and the bathroomdoor were noicy. We told the staff so probably they will be made.

This is a beautiful conversion of an historic house, very comfortable and situated right in the centre of the old town. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a delicious mix of fresh vegetables and fruit, cooked items, sweet snd savory pastry, yogurt and cereal. Astounding for the price.

Stylish hotel in the best part of town actually within the castle walls. Well equipped, clean, great bathroom and bed. Good breakfast. We loved it! One tip if you are like us and not always confident where tight European lane ways, plan your car parking ahead of time.

The location of IaIan is safe and quiet. Easy access to shopping streets, restaurants and city centres with castle and museums. The hotel room is very welled with classical and modern architecture. Unlike the free breakfast in other hotels, their breakfast is free but very good. Their staff is very friendly as well.

Lovely

Our experience was delightful. The hotel is truly a boutique hotel with no detail overlooked. Reception was welcoming, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast room adjoined a little courtyard and there was a nice selection of breakfast offerings. Violeta was especially gracious at breakfast and as we checked out…we appreciated her extra attention. Too bad we only spent one night!

Amazing Hotel, great room, great service!

My stay at Ialna hotel was amazing. The location is great, the interior of the hotel, the exterior and my room where beyond what I expected. It is very modern but has a traditional feel. My room was spacious and comfortable. The service was also great. When I come back to Ioannina, this is where I will stay. The only difficulty in the stay was with parking. The hotel is inside the fortress and the roads are very small. Parking is very hard to find.

the best service i ever received in hotels

the hotel staff did everything to make our stay comfortable. we add some issues and they do their best to solve them and verify that we are satisfied. also, they recommend a restaurant for dinner. the breakfast in the hotel is very good. next visit to this area I will sure rebook. BTW if you look for a romantic hotel this is the place

It is a nice hotel WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR and you will have to carry your own bags up the stairs. The parking IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT and took us 1 1/2 hours to find a spot on a Sunday evening at 7pm after driving 5 hours. If neither of those things bother you, it’s a clean, attractive place in a good location and a value for the money.

Staff was amazing. Albanian girl at the front ( sorry I don’t remember your name )Knowledgeable and pleasant. Afternoon girl girl ( again don’t remember the name ) Very helpful and made an excellent coffee. Spotless clean facility and rooms. If you will be driving keep in mind very very narrow roads since you literally need to enter a castle and drive inside. Very close to shopping and the huge lake. Beautiful area. Rooms are oddly spacious. If you are tall like me (6 5) May want to watch your head at spot STRONGLY RECOMMEND

Mostly Good

The room was great, the breakfast was great and the staff were all great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that isn't driving. I think the amenity of "free parking" is not accurate. That typically means parking on the premises, but in this case it means you get a parking pass that allows you to park anywhere on the street inside the castle that you can find parking. Not always a guarantee, and driving through the castle is not for the faint-of-heart. I got stuck in a narrow turn, driving a rental Hyundai Kona, and could not get through without assistance. Even then I scratched the fender and will probably have to pay extra to the rental company.
