"Apartment was spotless and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen facilities were good, but we didn't need to use much. There were a few bars & restaurants very close to the apartment. I did not see a supermarket (but did not venture far!) The roads around Reading town centre were a bit confusing and our sat nav wanted to avoid roads that were only for buses and black cabs but you need to drive through that zone to get to the apartments. "This is a great property and I can't wait to stay again. The best part was fresh eggs and feeding the animals! But keep in mind this is not a pristine hotel. This is an urban farm with an antique shop on the premises. There is no lobby. Most of this was fine, but I think there were some things that needed TLC on the exterior of the property (e.g., debris on the trampoline, playhouse by each unit was a little frayed, boules set was incomplete, etc.).
