They always made sure we got back safely to our room, especially at night, which gave us a real sense of comfort and peace of mind throughout our stay. "I had a wonderful week at Sangat Island Dive Resort. Really I cannot overstate how special the place is. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable (no problem without air conditioning, there is a lovely breeze), the food is delicious, the location is beautiful and so peaceful, and the dive shop is fantastic It was beyond my expectations, just perfect. I did my PADI advanced certification (big thanks to Tom!). The wrecks are very cool, spectacular coral and a variety of fish. I also enjoyed the Coron Island Adventure with Clyde - such a fun, well-planned day to more spectacular places. I should also note that I was completely comfortable traveling alone there. Sangat proves that we can have a lovely vacation and still respect the environment. We can minimize our impact. I’ve heard other “eco resorts” aren’t really protecting the local environment. Sangat is genuine. "
