The hotel is convenient to the Craignure ferry. It was very nice, updated, quiet and very clean. Staff were lovely. We had reserved a room with 2 town beds. When we arrived it was a single king. The front desk person was very accommodating and had housekeeping change the bed over to 2 twins while we were having dinner. We had a small view of the water with Lismore lighthouse in the distance.

Lovely location looking out from the Bar area very peaceful. Ordering food at bar easy however system for finding diners not so great, meals being sen out peaceable and announced by shouting out to those in the seafield bar. Could be better. Rooms OK, bit warm, cleanliness - well cobwebs on bathroom ceiling, insects in shower, hand marks on doors. Could be better.

Great hotel
Really good stay - excellent hotel and evening meal very good in the restaurant. Very well positioned on the island for exploring everywhere and only a 5 min drive from the ferry terminal. Room was really spacious, excellent shower, comfortable beds. The only tiny downside was hotels.com had taken our money for the stay weeks before but had not transferred it to the hotel so the hotel wanted to charge us on arrival - thankfully my credit card account showed that we had paid you. They kindly gave us complimentary drinks to apologise for the prolonged checking in which was a nice touch. We would happily stay here again.

This is a dog hotel. Guests take a back seat.
Worst 4 star hotel we have ever experienced. Dogs allowed in EVERY room. No dog free rooms for people with allergies. Dogs including dog bowls and dog baskets in all parts of public areas. Room was VERY basic with no storage, no surfaces in bathroom, no safe, no iron or ironing board in room. No privacy on ground floor rooms, people walking by could see into room which did not have nets or blinds. Spar was shared with public owned pool etc. pool closed at 7pm which was then not available to guests arriving later in the evening. Pool was dominated by children’s swimming lessons. We were not able to use the lounge or bar due to allergy to dogs. Breakfast was basic and items over cooked. In all, this hotel is worth only 1 star. Very expensive for what it provided.

Wonderful hotel!
We loved our stay here. It was one of our last stops on a 14 day trip around Scotland. We took advantage of the walking trails and sat by the beautiful beach to restore and refresh after a busy couple of weeks. The rooms were clean and fresh and well appointed.

Great location and views; super friendly staff; clean rooms. Windows are single pane and let through a lot of cold air - this is true for the rooms as well as the dining area. Radiators in rooms are too small to compensate for leaky windows. Radiator in bathroom is large, very hot and too close to the toilet - one cannot sit straight on the toilet without burning the left leg on the radiator. Food is too expensive for what it is. Overall, a lovely, slightly dated hotel that is too expensive for what it does.

First trip to Mull
Recently refurbished and beautifully decorated inside. All staff were great. Rema in the restaurant was wonderful & efficient. Abbie at the spa was so helpful. Sorry I can’t remember the staff at reception but they were all efficient and cheerful. Restaurant provided good food with a wide choice of wines.

Nice quiet place. Pool shuts at 6pm and opens at 9am the following day which was a disappointment as it doesnt give that much time to use the facility especially if out and about during the day. We were placed in the far end of a wing, room looked good but found out later on when preparing bath that there is no hot water. Reception informed and they said they know about it and currently being fixed, not sure if it can be fixed that night😳 Again, disappointed with lack of candour from staff- we havent been informed. Would have been prudent to let your customers know than them waking up the following morning without any hot water. We were moved to another room. We had dinner in restaurant. Good food. Rema was an excellent front of house. Easy check in and check out. We were informed the following day that water was fixed that night. Good to know.
