The antique hostel a golden treasure

The antecostal is always clean a nice breakfast was served every day it's conveniently located right by all the major sites in Istanbul yet it is on a quiet street

Great location. Room a bit cramped but good value and perfectly adequate. Breakfast very disappointing - virtually the same plate every morning but with one extra not very appetising or healthy option - cold pasta, cold chips, cold deep fried pastry, cold potato salad. Not the delightful buffet of delicious breads and jams and cheeses etc that I have loved in Turkey in the past. A shame. Bring back the buffet!

i stayed with my 3 daughters,, they like the hostel i choose becuase the location walking 2 minute to Blue Mosque . we have subuh praying in Blue mosque and the owner is always welcome Us and helps Us

Room was clean & comfortable. Small, but sufficient. Good shower. Reliable WiFi. Great location in nice neighbourhood, walking distance to all in Sultanahmet, ferry terminals & Galat Tower. Breakfast was filling, & the terrace had nice views, but a bit of background music would have made it more comfortable/improved the atmosphere. More of a guesthouse with dorms than a hostel (which wasn't a bad thing for us).

Amazing location! Rooms were decent, clean. Annoyed that I booked separate rooms for my father and I and they we’re supposed to be identical but they ended up giving him a room with a single bed with a bunk which was not a good fit for him. After we asked about it they just shrugged it off and said it will still be the same price

The heating was terrible. Breakfast bad. The wall is damaged and not fully painted. You can not allow using the kitchen during the day and night. The stair was not safe. The bathroom was clean but didn't have a bidet or water hose.

My most important review is that the travelers (especially solo female ones) need to be aware of one male receptionist who was extremely rude to me multiple times. I am not sure what triggered that man, but that was the worst experience in Turkey for me. He threatened me and made me feel unsafe. I had no choice but to stay there, I wish I had an option to move elsewhere since there are lost of other budget friendly places in that area. I would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about being treated with respect and dignity. Stay away.

Passei 3 noites sem dormir direito …

A localização é ótima, muito próximo a Mesquita Azul , Mesquita Haya Sofia e ao Palácio Topikapi . Agora o atendimento na recepção é péssimo. Não existe nenhuma orientação para os hóspedes observarem silêncio depois das 2200 h , então alguns chegam 0100 h da manhã e acendem a luz do quarto, e fazem o maior barulho, sem se importar com os hóspedes que já estão dormindo. Tem que pagar 50 TL se quiser uma toalha ( toda puída ) . O café da manhã é bem fraco ( a senhora que atende no café da manhã é muito educada) . Não recomendo e não voltaria a me hospedar neste Hostel.

O hostel em si é otimo, recepcao, localizacao, o quarto, chuveiro e café da manhã ótimos. Apenas a cama que deixou a desejar, faz MUITO ruido em qualquer movimento que faça, o que nos proporcionou um grande incomodo. Creio que eles vao resolver isso entao ainda assim eu recomendo.
