"My biggest pet peeve is cleanliness in a hotel. I’m not sure if it’s because of the location (Dontobori which is pretty dirty) but this hotel was not it. Our room was actually pretty gross with the walls stained, the carpet visibly stained, the toilet paper roll stained….I have no words. Additionally, when we got there we read a sign (we weren’t told we had to read a sign) that says there’s construction in the building next to us from February 16th, 2026 to October 20th, 2026 and we will most likely hear noises. During the week we heard the construction (loudly) but luckily at night and during the weekend we did not. I tried to be positive while we stayed so to be fair the location is in the middle of the chaos of Dontobori, fairly priced, and view was nice. But if you are a tourist and don’t want to stay in the Japan version of Las Vegas/New York do not stay here. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone."
