"Not welcoming staff. Sadly a female staff who stands by the check in machine wasn’t helpful at all, she didn’t let me go to the counter either. It would be nicer to see someone with welcoming attitude when we arrive in the hotel. It’s was my first time using this hotel, of course I don’t know what to do, perhaps little support and smile can help. This hotel has a Japanese style public bath included (free of charge) which is very nice. Good location. "

"The hotel is located at the centre area of Umeda which is closed to access nearby department stores and shops. It would be better if the more food varieties can be offered in breakfast. "

"This property was clearly labeled as VIP Access on Expedia. At check-in, the hotel staff stated that they are not a VIP Access property and that no such benefits exist. I also contacted the hotel through Expedia the day before arrival to request an early check-in. The hotel confirmed they never received the message. At the front desk, early check-in was offered only if I paid extra to upgrade the room, despite the VIP Access labeling shown on Expedia. This is a serious service failure. Properties should not be advertised as VIP Access if the hotel itself denies participation, and guest messages must be reliably delivered. The experience caused confusion, wasted time at the front desk, and significantly damaged my trust in Expedia."

"The hotel itself was very clean! The staff were nice and the room was big compared to others we stayed in. Bathroom was spacious and the beds were nice! We did not like that this was the only hotel that charged us a nightly tax but outside of that I don’t really have many complaints. It is VERY close to the train literally like 10 ft away. It allowed us to commute all around and not have to walk far when we returned. There is also a family mart on the corner of the same street which came in hand for late night snacks and beverages. We really like this hotel and although It was pricey and then had the additions tax we would likely stay again. If they get rid of the tax we would DEFINITELY stay again! "

"Clean, spacious suite for my family of four. The connecting rooms were ideal with a living space in between. We really enjoyed our meal at the Teppanyaki restaurant, they were gracious to accommodate us at the last minute as we flew in without a reservation. My teenage boys said it was the best steak they’ve ever had. Location is great as well, the nearby castle was an easy walk. We enjoyed our stay, thank you! "

"Super convenient! The train station is on the lobby of the hotel. Awesome toiletries. You need to get the body loofah total life changer. Their breakfast buffet has a lot of option to chose from. Lastly the toilets are like no other specially in the US. Warm toilets seats are a game changer."

"Room was spotless when entering and consistently had housekeeping clean our rooms. Loved the free water on the ground floor, saved us a lot of money and was a great amenity to have. "
