"The place where we stayed was great; the only thing missing was a small table outside—I had brought something to do while relaxing, but there wasn't a table out there, so I had to grab one from inside the room. Everything else was perfect. My husband and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary—which is why we went there—and his birthday is tomorrow, so I wanted something nice. I loved the view; thank you for the service."

I didn’t ask to chevrons because when I checked in the owner told me if I didn’t like it there I can just leave and I wasn’t getting a refund. When I asked for the WiFi password she responded “do you need it”. They used an extension cord for the fridge. There were very limited outlets and the ones that they did have were loose. "My husband and I were very impressed with the Golden Apple Inn. We went with my daughter, son in law and my grandsons, ages 12 & 8. We had rooms across the hall from each other, theirs was facing the pool and ours was facing the parking lot. We all enjoyed the pool!! The grounds were very well maintained (my son in law is a landscaper too). The ice machine, vending machines were stocked, and staff on site were absolutely charming!! We went to Storyland, which was only 4 minutes...

"This was our first trip to Storyland with our children (4 and 1). The Inn and More was the perfect place for us. The room was super clean, the pool was pristine, and the playgrounds and river access were perfect for the kids. We ordered takeout and ate dinners on the picnic tables by the playground which was very convenient. There was a pack n play with sheets and an extra blanket ready for us in the room when we arrived. The lounge was fully stocked with snacks and games for the whole family....
