The receptionist I met was excellent — very helpful, polite, well‑mannered, and accommodating. The hotel offers a good breakfast and has a beautiful outdoor seating area with mountain views. "Charming hotel, very friendly staff, beautiful location with views facing the water on the 3rd floor. Lots of steps, so be aware if mobility is an issue but we absolutely loved it (and Hallstatt)!"

"This is a nice boutique hotel run by a family for three generations. It is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood yet is close to the cable car and the town center. Staff members were extremely helpful and friendly."

"The place seemed a little like something out of a horror film. The room itself was nice (the balcony door was broken which was disappointing) but the actual facility is nothing like the pictures. I never saw a staff person (not sure if there is even breakfast available) and the place was completely dark and dead even though I got there during the supposed check in time. Definitely bring water and snacks for your stay. "

"The chalet was amazing. We enjoyed being there so much. The heated tub, sauna and speaker made our stay enjoyable. We cooked a simple dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. The breakfast was spectacular and the view from the dining area one of the best ever! Loved this place. One of my favorites! "
