The hotel is fancy and the ambiance was great. The room is super. The staff is friendly. The area around is Ok but close to Airport and easy access through any Careem taxi, took us 2 min to have Careem at the door step. Room was clean and house keeping was wellcoming, room service was cooperative. Will do it again.

I booked to stay at the last moment as I had a 11 hour layover. It was within 15 minutes of Jeddah airport and on arrival well past midnight at around 3:30 am, the front office staff was super friendly and hadn't yet received the expedia confirmation on his system, but he still checked me in. The room was clean and the concierge at the front was also super helpful at that hour. I would totally recommend the hotel for last minute stays.

Damp smell with old carpet in rooms

The staff were amazing but there is a very bad damp smell. Was very horrible. Room was changed but unfortunately the smell was still there. I was out most of the time so decided to leave it but was very unfortunate. Also I used the roof top restaurant for food and there was no staff. Called reception who sent someone. He was on his own and more people came. They don’t seem to have staff so service was slow. Front reception was very kind. Location is good near airport but they really need to sort out the damp smell and change carpet. The combination of the carpet and humidity and smell did not go well. Will not use again.
