"Exceptional customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations. One of the best things about this hotel is its convenient location. The mall is right next door, and there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice bonus and a great way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again!"

"One of the best hotel lobbies I have seen- Places to lounge, divided spaces to work, a conference table and two large screen televisions (set on silent) - with the world cup games highlights the weekend I was there; the breakfast was amazing - some of the best chilequiles I have had anywhere! Great location as well walking distance - a few blocks to all the Pasadena Old Town shops and restaurants!"

"I've stayed at the Sakura Inn on multiple occasions. It is centrally located to downtown Los Angeles, and cities in the San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley. The current owners seem indifferent to basic guestroom maintenance. To be specific, I took photos of a loose faucet and a broken door seal, and showed them to the innkeeper. She promised to share my concerns with her husband. During my stay, no one came to inspect my room. On past stays, everything was in good working order and...

"The room was clean and comfortable. Food and coffee were available right downstairs. Valet parking was convenient, but a bit expensive. I would love to have the option of free parking. However, the valet parking attendants were very nice."

We had to switch rooms 3 times first room no AC, second room TV wasn’t functioning, third room finally fully functioning but still just like the other rooms…. Very dusty and there were ants…staff is great but hotel owners and higher up management really need to either hire more people or change the way they’re doing things."

"Howard Johnson Wyndham Pasadena was a great place to stay. Although the property is dated, it was clean and felt safe. The location was excellent! Freeway access was easy and there were enough dining options around the property. The only problem we encountered was the lack of enough handicap parking stalls. Other than that, we would highly recommend this property."

"I originally booked the Greentree Pasadena Inn in November 2025 for June 2026 graduation because it looked cute, had free parking, grab-n-go breakfast, and a pool. Unfortunately, we arrived after 11pm from a late evening flight and the pool was completely torn up, piles of rubble all around the parking lot, and only a sketchy underground parking garage available. "A remodel has taken place since we stayed here last. Partying guests above us kept us awake much of the night and made the stay less than ideal. The breakfast needs some work, boxed eggs are gross and not much variety or nutritional choices."
