"Our stay at Lifu Garden Inn was fantastic. The host is so kind and helpful. We arrived low on gas and they helped us fill up from a local nearby since the gas station there is not yet completed. The drive up to Lifu is incredible. What an amazing place to live. The restaurants are about 3 min up the road and are all delicious and the views are unbelievable with the fog rolling around on the mountains. "The hotel reception staff were friendly and doing their best. And since the hotel is old, it appears to be a 2-star or 2.5-star facility. The worst thing was that the lady in charge of breakfast was very unpleasant.
Regarding "To go coffee" in the morning, from the first day, all person in charge gave me a paper cup and I took it out every morning. But 4 days later, another person in charge suddenly told me that I couldn't take my coffee out and I have to drink it all here. Even though I said...

Stayed in twin room which was clean and spacious.
Was nice to have the communal room/kitchen option upstairs L15 with microwave and water/tea/coffee.
Aircon in room was not overly strong even on lowest temp (I was in TPE with excessive heat time of year) and mini bar not super cold either and had no temperature setting (but these 2 things were bearable and kinda expected for this standard of hotel). Reception staff was a bit hit and miss with friendliness but overall had a great stay here. "
