Relatively pricey, but oasis of calm in Bangkok.

Sky train goes fairly close to the house but we would recommend going by taxi. Taxis are very cheap in Thailand and it is nice to arrive refreshed after a taxi ride. As well as a guided tour of the museum there is a shop selling pure silk items. A bit expensive but well worth considering. There is also a restaurant on the premises serving local and European meals.
