"The shower was dirty with no conditioner or shampoo. The room smelled like smoke, it was loud and too expensive for the quality of the room . The beds were comfy but the upstairs room was loud."

"For the price the property was fine. Seems a bit tired and older feel to it, but for the most part was clean and did the job for the night. Probably wouldn’t stay there again as I prefer a little more modern property."

"The hotel is not the newest.. that being said the front desk staff were knowledgeable friendly, and thoughtful. The housekeeping staff obviously take pride in their work. The room was spotless with little fancy touches you find in 5 star hotels. The bed was really comfortable. The shuttle service is Lyft so the will take you exactly when and where you want to go and it's covered by the hotel. I wouldn't go there for a holiday but as a stay for the airport, totally recommend!"

"This property is a converted motel and former Sonder. The rooms are newly renovated , very clean and the staff is very kind. This is a family run business. Security gates are code controlled and the staff is available 24/7. Free parking. If you are looking for great value and a great location in north Oakland near piedmont Ave , this is the place."

"We appreciated the quick grab breakfast options (hot breakfast options available for those with later flights) before hitting the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle runs frequently and takes less than five minutes door-to-door. We were leaving our car and appreciated the gates well lit parking lot."

It's a vintage beauty with stunning views and nearby attractions-- but it's heavily neglected by the owners and staff, and may be in a dangerous area. "The location of the property is close to public transit and shopping. Housekeeping was a major perk for me. Nothing like getting back to a clean room. Thank you so much! The room and property were clean. The view from my room was breathtaking! Loved the bath and body products! We were provided enough towels and wash cloths. Overall one of the best stays I've had. I highly recommend this property."

"We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Lafayette Hotel and Spa. The hotel and its grounds are truly lovely and their staff (shout out to Terrance at the front desk!) is amazing. Their onsite restaurant, The Park Bistro and Bar”, is fantastic as well. The food was very well prepared and beautifully presented. "The room is not clean this dog this facility takes dogs in. They do not vacuum the rooms and it shows so you definitely get what you pay for. ask for a towel and was told by maintenance I had to go to the fourth floor yet my room is on the third, but the cleaning cart lady was standing there. This was the strangest hotel I’ve been at and I’m from California. I’m from the Bay."
