Always a pleasure

This is my favorite place to stay in Pretoria. The parking is safe, staff are always friendly, and there are tons of restaurants within a few feet of the hotel.

I stayed for one night on business. The hotel was very clean and is well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the bed was good. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Problems with the room

The staff were great but we had to switch rooms 3 times in 3 days due to problems with the room (air didn't work, tv didn't work, power plugs didn't workn etc.). We still enjoyed our stay once everything was fixed. We enjoyed the restaurant and the location.

Ive stayed in the area quite a few times and was VERY impressed with this hotel. The location was great for food, the staff was extremely friendly, the parking security staff were also very helpful and friendly. This is the only place i will be staying from now on.

Stay was a great room for improvement

The place and location are great however, the Shower pressure and water level do not really measure the Stature of the Hotel. One feels cold even inside the shower which makes it unappetizing for a couple to shower together. Ice bucket not big enough for even two bottles of one's favourite beverage.

Great for a business stay

The key to the room was faulty, so more than once I had to go to reception for assistance. The bath towel was a little small. There was only one cup and one spoon, so I had to keep rinsing in order to make a fresh cup of tea. Only decaf coffee was made available for both nights of my stay. The TV was hanging at a slant. On the up side: the room was cleaned beautifully while I was out. Big plus: the inhouse cafe where I had dinner was really top class.

The Lodge

My major disappointments: was that the shower cubicle door was not working, resulting in water splashing all over the bathroom. The television set visuals are of low quality; I could hardly differentiate the clothing colours during sports matches. My first night was horrible because of the noise coming from the club across the road. I could not sleep until late in the morning. Although it was not the hotel's fault, the noise made the stay at the hotel an inconvenience. The food was great, and customer service was good and prompt.
