"Great check in, convenient location and free parking. The breakfast was sub-par and the rooms really need a little refresh, to make them feel more modern and welcoming. To brighten up the rooms, new lamps and room chairs with a fresh coat of paint would do wonders. Overall, decent value for money and a clean spot to stay, but definitely not a luxurious feel."

"We arrived for a one night stay for check in at 4:00 and our room wasn’t ready until 5:00. They provided us a comp stay for another time which was nice. However, I’m not sure if we will return. "It is with a heavy heart that I have to leave this review as The James was always our first choice when staying in Saskatoon in the past.
After making the reservations 5 months in advance we arrived to find that the restaurant and lounge don’t operate on Sunday in this hotel. That wasn’t indicated when we made the booking.
Upon check out the next morning a valuable personal item was accidentally left in one of the washrooms. I phoned when I arrived back home to inquire if housekeeping had...
