"Great hotel - clean, staff are amazing and offee little perks to make experience above the rest. Very basic breakfast - chocolate chips to add to the homemade waffles with the whipped cream on top. Bottled water, snack bag at check in for my young son, cookies, and water and iced tea in reception. Nice enough pool and hot tub. No complaints!"

"Only I did not like on app said 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. This is reason I booked but only 1 restroom available. Even I called 2 days before verify 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom person said yes 2 bedroom and 2 bedroom. But wasn’t "

"It was amazing! White Rock is a beautiful quaint little town. The stay was amazing, cozy, comfortable and minutes from the ocean! Just don’t count on the sofa bed for an extra place to sleep unless it’s for kids where anything goes when they drop! Not comfy for an adult! But in general amazing stay!"

"Nice home a way home type with private room and detached bath is rhe one I I had it booked for my friend and me. Price was less than other hotels around and he liked it when we arrived so I had no error in his mind..haha The place had kitchen and living room ... They have many types to choose Next time we choose private suite."

"We enjoyed our stay. Our hosts warmly welcomed us and served a delicious breakfast to us each morning ($10 Canadian each). They also suggested several good local restaurants for dinner. If we visit Surrey again, we’ll definitely stay at Sunny Island again."

"The room was spacious and comfortable and they accommodated 4 of us with extra towels and coffee. We loved the balcony and the view and all the fun things to do within walking distance, parking was easy close and convenient and we only stayed one night so we didn't take advantage of breakfast this time!!! "Air Conditioning worked awesome, hotels not fancy but the price point was ok. No coffee on site or in your room. No filtered water to drink, no food on site. Just a basic room that was just fine. Pillows sucked but the bed was good."

"Positive : Bed was comfortable. One staff member was fine. Negative: Another staff member was rude and unhelpful when we asked for face cloths that were missing from our room. Floor was not clean; white socks did not stay white. Rooms were not soundproof at all. We could hear the next door neighbour's every word. No elevator. So be prepared if you're on the second floor."

"Pool tiny and there were paid swimming lessons occurring making pool unusable. Breakfast not that healthy for those trying to eat well. Clean rooms"

"Very noisy building. Common areas on top floor Had poor ventilation so was always extremely Hot and smelt like cleaner hours after the staff had gone through. If you’re not on the top Floor, you will hear every footstep of the person above you. The beds were pretty good though. It was clean. The breakfast was adequate. Staff was excellent. Just either bring earplugs, or prepare to be annoyed by it. "
