Top Johns Creek Hotel Reviews
Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead
8/10 Good
"The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good and the hotel was clean. The steakhouse has great steaks, but sides were ok. However, be aware that the garage is very tight. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a large vehicle."
Wyndham Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center

"I mean overall a decent place especially for the price. But only complaint would be that their payment system takes a long time to release your $75 incidental deposit if you're using a third party like this one. Unlike Hilton and all them where it's released like just right after you check out no matter what platform you use with them. Front desk staff were accommodating yet the fake kind of friendly that you can tell that they still have underlying attitude and don't want to be there. Pretty much everyone I saw on housekeeping was super friendly and maintenance as well."
Hotel Colee, Atlanta Buckhead, Autograph Collection

"The property was very nice and convenient to MARTA. We had an issue with being overcharged and were offered a food and beverage credit which was appreciated. The terrace pool was a great feature."

"The hotel staff were awesome, from the check in desk to valet service. Location was great. Right at Georgia State University. They have on-site restaurant which I didn't use. Rooms were well dated with a huge bathroom mirror that has Bluetooth. Negative comments. Street parking was impossible even to check in. I parked across the street in a parking lot and for 30min check in, the cost was $18.00 The front door stays locked. I could not figure out how to get in so I walked around the corner to the valet area and ask the valet attendant. He opened the door and let me in without telling me I was fixing to fall down due to a step about 6 ft from the door. It has nothing to warn you. The floor is all brown so you won't see the step until it's too late. Once I got passed that there is a set of around 8 steps to go down to the lobby. Why have valet parking on the side that requires you to walk around the hotel to try and get in the front door if you are disabled? By the way valet parking is a steep $55.00 per 24 hrs. The hotel is pet friendly but outside our rooms door, there was a large yellow urine stain on the carpet. The inside the room was very nice but it had limited lighting. One by the bed, one by the desk. TV had a small number of cable channels. There is a small refrigerator and safe in the room. We agreed that we would stay there again unless we found something similar and closer to Mercedes-Benz Stadium."

"Looked a little rough outside but the room was clean and close to the venue we were visiting. I’d stay again."
The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

"The hotel is beautiful and the location is prime!"

"I had a very disturbing experience with one of the hotel’s security guards. To help management identify the correct person, I am referring to the security guard with a visible “904” Florida area-code tattoo. Later that night, around 11 PM, this security guard called me and told me he had someone on the line. When the other person came on, they identified themselves by saying, “Hi, this is ICE.” I immediately hung up. Afterward, I remember receiving several additional calls from the security guard before I blocked the number. I have a noticeable foreign accent, and given the circumstances, the interaction left me feeling as though the reference to ICE may have been intended to intimidate or frighten me because he perceived me as an immigrant. I cannot know his actual motivation or verify who the person on the other end of the call was, so I am not presenting that as a fact. Regardless of the motivation, I found this behavior extremely inappropriate and concerning from someone working in hotel security. I hope hotel management investigates the incident and identifies the employee involved so that other guests do not have a similar experience."
